Scott Harrison, Founder of charity: water wrote this in the Washington Post.

"In four years, we've funded over 3,800 water projects to provide more than 1.7 million people in 17 countries with access to clean and safe drinking water. Along the way, we've formed a movement to fight the water crisis: we have more than 100,000 individual donors and 13,000 individuals raising funds on their own for the cause. 

Our goal is to reinvent charity: we use 100% of all public donations to directly fund water projects on the ground and we prove each completed project with GPS coordinates plotted on Google Maps. We use social media outlets like Facebook and Twitter to help share our message; we keep things simple and empower our supporters to make our story their own."

Can you see the smile on God's face from here ...  I am in awe and amazement of how much charity:water is doing to save lives with clean water ... just image the avalanche love and heavenly treasures God has in store for these guys ... Thanks Scott and charity:water

Are your eyes awake to God's Goodness.  Sometimes the busyness and noise of the big city can be distracting.  It can take our attention away from what is important.

This scripture is all we need to trust in and know that this life is not journey taken alone but one we share with our creator. 

If Christ has goodness in Him and He has given us everything we need ... then He has given us goodness.  Let us start to choose to act in this goodness and behave more like a people God would be proud of.  
'take off the old clothes and put on the new clothes'
Acknowledge and Thank God for His goodness toward us.

 Hey everyone ...

This week I am trying to watch my words and only speak words that bring life and encourage ... too often my first words can be negative and harmful ... so as I slow down and think before I speak, I am practicing some new phrases that will change the way I respond to people ...

• Is there something I can do to help you?
• You sound stressed ... what can I do to lighten your load?

With new words I hope to see an improvement in my kindness and compassion to others.

Welcome to International Women's Day ...

As women around the world gather together to support and encourage each other ... to build community and share experiences ... I celebrate you all for being spectacular and courageous. 
  
This year is the 100th year anniversary of International Women's Day.  Check out the UN WOMEN website and all the good things they do globally.

UN Women Goodwill Ambassador and Academy-Award winner Nicole Kidman describes personal experiences of seeing women change the world. “There are incredible testimonies of resilience, strength and dignity — and ultimately of hope,” she says. “This is why I say that the women and girls I have met are my personal heroes. It is my pleasure and pride to be with UN Women, the new, strong voice for women around the world.”

The work is never done until there is peace in every nation, every town and every home.

" Be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other, just as Christ forgave you."

Ephesians 4 : 32

Kindness and compassion are two peas in a pod and are perfectly matched with forgiveness.  God speaks often about relationships ...

• relationship with God  (Father,Son and Holy Spirit)
• relationship with people

All relationships go through testing times.  It is not always easy.  God does however promise to help us with all the skills we need.  The more time we spend with God ... the more we become like Him.  Ask God to soften those hard spots of unforgiveness and allow Him to develop in you a healing kindness.  Be kind to yourself and others.
