So as we come to the end of the Fruit of the Spirit series ... I pray that you have been encouraged and inspired to pass in God's abundant Love.

... nothing can separate us from the love of God ... we are not alone in our journey ... He has given us the Holy Spirit as our constant companion ... May your heart be filled to overflowing with his Love, Joy, Peace, Patience, Kindness, Goodness, Faithfulness, Gentleness and Self-control.

Trust in the Lord to mold you and make you more like Him.

Found this amazing talk on TED about the importance of connection.  I really do believe the old saying 'it takes a village to raise a child' and then to translate this into our adult lives ... 'it takes support and encouragement to help sustain growth and development for our entire life'. 

Life has good and bad days but God uses every one of us and everyone of those days, to make an impact in someones life.

... invest in your future ... develop your core strength just like a ballerina ... it takes training to build muscle strength and mental focus ... to get the results you need to put in the time ...

... it takes this same dedication to maintain a strong relationship with God  ... the rewards are beyond great ... and the results will be a life walking closer with Him ... make a plan ... spend time hanging with God ... read His word ... make the choice to put him first ...

... I have this image of walking so close close to God that I can hear Him breathing ... my prayer is that you may also experience this everyday ...

When do I feel most in control of myself?

Life is a juggling act ... trying to keep all the balls in motion ... trying not to drop any ...

But maybe this is where it has all gone wrong because it is not all about me juggling.  The God focus has been forgotten.

I feel the most in control of myself when my relationship with God is on track.  When I am reading God's word, spending time with God in prayer and when I am listening to His leading.

Maybe the knowledge that is spoken of in the verse above is knowledge of God ... Personal knowledge of the Holy Spirit living in us ... Hanging out with God can transform and build up ...

Another inspirational woman ... Catherine Booth of the Salvation Army was known to be a timid, gentle woman of God.  She even had to gather courage, to speak to the Sunday school class.  During her life she became known as 'the mother of the Army' ... speaking up at equal rights for women to speak at Church ... she began preaching herself and her ministry blossomed ...

Such a gentle soul had the courage and conviction to stand up and speak for her God.

A life well lived and an example of Godly character.  The influence she had in a movement that changed our world ... giving to our community and a helping hand to all. The Salvation Army ...

Play your part in creating a history ... leave this day having helped another.
