What matters to you ...

What matters to me ... is having an active living faith.

I often wonder whether the world sees this in me ...

Does the world see Christ in me?

Easter is a good time to ponder and reflect on how blessed I am ... to be loved so greatly ... how much I have to rejoice about and with this overflow of blessing ... how much I have to share.

A few things for me to ponder on this week ... as I pray about it ... let's see what God shows me.


What is God talking to you about at the moment ... What is on your heart ... What matters to you?

Jesus answered, “Everyone who drinks this water will be thirsty again,  but whoever drinks the water I give them will never thirst. Indeed, the water I give them will become in them a spring of water welling up to eternal life.”  John 4:13-14

Colour Conference 2013 ...

to quote from Bobbie Houston

"mark us for a resolve, for the days ahead ...equip us to build"

... what I Love about Colour Conference is the voice of God speaking to a crowd of women united in one cause ... saying to them all ... strength to strength in Jesus.

Blessed are those whose strength is in you,
    whose hearts are set on pilgrimage.

Psalm 84:5

 Hillsong amplify the voice of God so well and it really is a privilege to be a part of this gathering.

So I am walking away from this conference with a new mantra ... Have a Heart Set on Pilgrimage ... make it my earnest desire to keep my relationship with God alive and active ... don't get lazy and take it for granted ... make it top priority.

Thanks so so much to everyone involved in Colour Conference ... thanks for listening to what God is saying ... thanks for stepping up and speaking out ... thanks for the Truth.

Thanks for being a voice for those who have no voice ... now it's up to us to walk in action and keep the momentum going.

For anyone interested The 500 Project is a fab way to step up and help change someones world.

Christian Co-op Dream ...

Hey everyone ...

Just had to put this out there ... a God Size Dream that exploded in me.

A dream of starting a Christian Co-op. 

A group of 12 passionate artists/crafters that want to show their art to the world.

I don't know what it will look like or how it will begin or who will come ... all of these blanks of who, what, when or where will come in God's time.

I don't even know if christian co-ops exist in Adelaide ... so here begins my journey ... to find out what Adelaide offers for Christian Artists. 

I will keep you posted!

2013 is already an AMAZING year ... and it has only just began.

Storytelling that inspires ...

 

 After having watched Lincoln today … I have been all inspired … with storytelling and human justice ideals.

Storytelling and it’s ability to inspire passion and spread ideas … to lift the human spirit ... to encourage self belief … to bring out the best in humanity ... to fight for what matters.

When I watch a movie like this , I always relate it back to Me and My Faith.

What got me thinking through out the movie was ... Listening to the voice of God ... Compromise ... Knowing the cost of your Choices ... Discerning the greater good ... Living in the Now ... here and now.

What resonated with me about the Lincoln character, was his ability to communicate ... connect to people by making it person to them ... know your people and what matters to them.

So many thoughts for one movie ... then watching a movie with a well written story is like ... a breath of fresh air ... GOTTA LOVE THAT!

  

SO with a renewed perseverance to keep on keeping on ... I will do better and be better.

I will keep shining that Christ light in my own special way ... today and Forever.

Market Adventures ...

Well ... Can I tell you ... after painting my old apartment, packing up and moving my life half way across Australia ... I then decided to do my first market stall ...

And as HUGE as the learning curve was ... I have come to realise my postcards look much better when being held in the hand  ... they looked great hanging and stacked and framed.

On the computer screen they lose the texture and collage look.

So many things for me to work on and improve ... it may seem scarey to put yourself out there and show your Art to the world ... but I would encourage anyone who has a passion ... SHARE IT ... you may be surprised, delighted and excited to be lead in a whole new direction.

This begins my marketing adventures ...

Too many words to choose from … so many choices … but for me, learning to accept ‘it is what it is’ … a big list a okay.

Immanuel is my word for this year

To remind me that God is with me in every moment.

In my new adventure … moving across the country … delving deep into my Postcard business …

Do not be afraid … keep moving … Let Go and LET GOD … trust in His plan.
