June Blessings ...

Hello Everyone ...

I may have been missing from my blog the past few months ... but all for good reasons ... since moving back to Adelaide, I have under estimated the busy busy that comes of being back with family and old friends.

I feel so blessed by the Love of familiar faces and blossoming work opportunities.

Oh ... How God is working in my Life!

My life has just exploded in goodness and newness and learning.

So many things on my To Do List ... to name just a few ... I have started selling children name cards and need to add them to my Etsy site ... so hopefully in the next few weeks I will add them.
Next weekend I am participating in Eaglemount's LIFEWORX ARTFEST ... showing postcards and collages.

But through all of this one verse resounds in my mind ...

“Be still, and know that I am God; 

I will be exalted among the nations, 

I will be exalted in the earth.”

Psalm 46:10

My God knows the plans he has for me ... and I am living in those days.

Colour 2012 celebration

I spent the weekend at Colour Conference ... and it was totally what I needed.

God just confirmed to me that I need to keep on and push through this blockage I have about selling my product.  'Not my strength but His.'  Conference spoke of the ground ploughed by past generations and the call on our lives to step up, to continue their good work for future generations.

It was like a Giant Smile that started from the inside out ...

10,000 women in the Entertainment center praising God!

Thanks Hillsong for listening to the call ... and giving us the space to unite and celebrate Jesus.

putting the puzzle together

Whether my heart whispers or it shouts ... one thing I know for sure, is that it takes time and patience to put the puzzle pieces together so they fit well.

... and I am not talking about a jigsaw puzzle but LIFE.

There is a constant ebb and flow when learning what really works, instead of trying to do it all.  The pace of life is continually changing, so I am constantly reevaluating my to do list.  I am a list maker so post-it notes are my BFF.

Here is how I go about redefining the frayed edges ... I hope you find it helpful.

Some questions to get you started ... Is there one thing you are really good at? ... What stops you from doing that one thing? ... Do you know in your heart that you are meant to be doing something greater? ... Do you have a consuming passion? ... What doesn't work for you anymore? ... What do I really Value in life?

Meanwhile, the moment we get tired in the waiting, God's Spirit is right alongside helping us along. If we don't know how or what to pray, it doesn't matter. He does our praying in and for us, making prayer out of our wordless sighs, our aching groans. He knows us far better than we know ourselves, knows our pregnant condition, and keeps us present before God. That's why we can be so sure that every detail in our lives of love for God is worked into something good.

Romans 8:26-28

Do you see what this means—all these pioneers who blazed the way, all these veterans cheering us on? It means we'd better get on with it. Strip down, start running—and never quit! No extra spiritual fat, no parasitic sins. Keep your eyes on Jesus, who both began and finished this race we're in. Study how he did it. Because he never lost sight of where he was headed—that exhilarating finish in and with God—he could put up with anything along the way: Cross, shame, whatever. And now he's there, in the place of honor, right alongside God. When you find yourselves flagging in your faith, go over that story again, item by item, that long litany of hostility he plowed through. That will shoot adrenaline into your souls!

2 Corinthians 9 : 8

 The words in this verse that stand out and shout to me are GOD IS ABLE.  These words feel like a mantra worth repeating.  They are foundational words when It comes to describing God.  GOD IS ABLE, are the words  I need to hear whenever I am feeling low or when a challenge surfaces and seems insurmountable ...
