... words that sing ...

 " The heavens declare the glory of God;

There are some bible verses that sing so loudly and speak directly to your heart ... you know they have moved you and uplifted you but you cant quite explain why ... these verses do just that for me ...

Creation has a way of stopping me in my tracks and saying 'look at me and know my creator'.

Majestic ... Holy ... Endures forever

Look up and see all that is Good and Glorious waiting to behold you.  Be fed by words that sing to your soul.

Hey Everyone ...

Sometimes when the pile seems high we can easily retreat under the doona and hide.  My doona days seem less and less frequent at the moment ... not for the want of trying but I have this nagging voice in my head which chases me out of bed.

Winter is great for hibernation ... so part of me is Happy to see the rainy days coming.  Along with the quiet hibernation can come times spent with God reading and pondering ... waiting for His voice.

I love that I have this luxury of spending uninterrupted weekends with God ... sometimes when I read back through my journals I finds gems that were deposited during such times ... I am blessed.

 The words in this verse that stand out and shout to me are GOD IS ABLE.  These words feel like a mantra worth repeating.  They are foundational words when It comes to describing God.  GOD IS ABLE, are the words  I need to hear whenever I am feeling low or when a challenge surfaces and seems insurmountable ...

Imagine being born without arms!  Imagine being born without legs!  Imagine being born without both arms and legs!  Imagine the challenges and obstacles everyday.  When this man speaks you can feel him hug you with his love and carry you with his compassion.  Truly the light of Jesus.






Life may seem gloomy some days but God uses every one of us to make an impact in someones life.

Hey everyone ...

What gives me life and energy is knowing I have been created to live an amazing life.  That God has the most unbelievable plans for me and He is going to make it happen ... all I have to do is keep saying "hey dude, I am yours today so lead on".

I think God has planted in me a possibility gene ... and I feel blessed.

 These are words that are solid and secure ... a strong foundation to stand on ... words that I have built my life on ... words that speak of His omnipresence and eternal presence ...  words that speak of Jesus ... as amazing as it sounds, every time I read these words, it is as though they speak to me ... I stand a little bit taller and my spirit is renewed ...
